Huawei MediaPad M2 breaks cover with a metal body and Kirin 930 chipset

Huawei, the Chinese OEM has been launching quite a few devices these days and has now quietly taken the covers off from the MediaPad M2 tablet. The tablet has been showcased in France as of now and is expected to make its way to other parts of the globe soon.

The Huawei MediaPad M2 will be the Chinese OEM's flagship tablet going forth and will retail around the €349/$399 (approximately Rs 25,000) mark. To start off, the 8-inch display has a full HD resolution. Huawei's in-house flagship chipset, the Kirin 930 coupled with 2GB of RAM powers it. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Emotion UI on top of it.

It has 4G LTE connectivity as well in addition to the usual connectivity features. You get an 8-megapixel at the rear and a 2-megapixel camera in the front. It tips the scales at 310 grams and is just 7.8mm thin. Let us take a quick look at its specifications:

The tablet comes with a build quality which is on the premium side of things. Seeing the fact that Huawei devices have now started making their way to Indian shores soon after their global showcase, we can expect this one to touch base soon in the country.
