In mid-May HMD Global, the current parent company of Nokia silently announced the Nokia 3310 in India for Rs. 3310. The company right now is selling the feature phone only via the offline market. Today, the Finnish startup company revealed that it would be holding an event on June 13 in the country.
The company did not disclose what they are going to announce at the event, but we all know what it would be- the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and the Nokia 6. All the three Nokia-powered Android phones might be announced along with the pricing and availability details as well. Recently, Nokia confirmed that all the phones would be shipped globally by the end of June.
To recall, the Nokia 6 was announced earlier this year but was sold only in China. It was at the MWC 2017 event in February Nokia made the Nokia 6 global alongside announcing the stripped down Nokia 5 and entry-level Nokia 3. The pricing of the phones for the Indian market is still a mystery. However, a pricing report says that they would be sold at a steeper rate in India.

It has 16GB of internal storage and also has the same 3000mAh battery. Both the Nokia 6 and Nokia 5 have fingerprint scanners embedded into their home buttons. The Nokia 5 is backed with a 13MP rear camera with PDAF and dual-tone LED flash. It also has an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Nokia 3 Specifications
The Nokia 3 will be the company's entry-level take. The Nokia 3 rocks a 5-inch HD display, carrying a pixel density of 294 PPI. It is fuelled with the MediaTek MT6737 chip, clubbed with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
Camera wise, the Nokia 3 has an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash, along with another 8MP camera at the front. A 2650mAh battery backs the entire package.
Furthermore, all the three phones run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box with monthly security patches. They come with dual SIM card support along with a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB. And all the three phones are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass technology and has 4G VoLTE connectivity as well.
