Galaxy Broadband to Provide OneWeb Connectivity Services in Canada

OneWeb, a major satellite communications (satcom) player globally, and Galaxy Broadband Communications, the Ontario-based satellite service company that provides telecommunications services to enterprise customers, announced a USD 50 million, multi-year deal to deliver OneWeb’s low Earth orbit (LEO) connectivity solutions across Canada including the northern Territory of Nunavut.

Connectivity for Remote Enterprises

Galaxy, one of OneWeb‘s most rapidly expanding Distribution Partners, has already deployed services to over 75 locations across Canada, serving a diverse range of customers and connecting anywhere from 30 to 800 users per site. Powered by OneWeb’s Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite communications network, Galaxy offers connectivity services specially designed for remote Canadian enterprises, such as mine sites and isolated communities.
