It was an important day for the tech geeks and all the folks who were looking out to buy Micromax Yureka an exceptional device that will be powered by the Cyanogen Mod and the state of the art 64 bit processor from Snapdragon. Well i was waiting to buy one for myself and frankly speaking i didn't have much expectation since Amazon India has been known for its botched up sales.

Amazon not only started the sales a few minutes before 2PM but they also made a huge mistake as the Buy Now button disappeared after the sale started. The worst part comes when Amazon notoriously increased the price of the device from Rs.8,999 to Rs. 12,499. This behaviour from Amazon is nothing short of fraud as they had initially advertised the device for Rs. 8,999.

Amazon.in Questions And Answers why my order say 12499 as it would be 8999

Flipkart has never indulged in such kind of unethical behavior before but Amazon showed their sinister face by increasing the price in middle of a flash sale. We wonder how we can trust these multinational giants if they keep misguiding and looting people with such tactics.

It seems Micromax increased the price just so that they can indirectly compete with Xiaomi devices which are priced at a reasonable price point. Amazon has still not issued any sort of official reply. Let us know if you had the similar experience in the comments below.
