Bharti Airtel's Xstream AirFiber page is finally back up online. The company had removed the page for unknown reasons several weeks back. There is nothing new concerning plans or availability. The AirFiber service of Airtel is grouped under Wi-Fi, so Airtel's strategy is to offer AirFiber in areas where they have not deployed fiber and fiber in areas where it is available. The company has already said that it believes fiber is superior to AirFiber.

One of the things that Airtel has cleared up now is that the Xstream AirFiber can only be installed up to the 7th floor in high-rise buildings. So if you are someone who lives above the 7th floor, the AirFiber service won't work for you. You will have to rely on fiber only.

Bharti Airtel said, "Airfiber can be installed only upto 7th floor. Above 7th floor we will not be able to install AirFiber due to inferior network experience at heights."

The plans available right now offer up to 100 Mbps speed. You can get these plans in configurations of 6 and 12 months if you are a new user. Monthly plans are available after this and are postpaid in nature. The Rs 699 and Rs 899 plans from Airtel Xstream AirFiber come with OTT (over-the-top) benefits.
