Airtel Prepaid Data Packs Revised: Check Details
Bharti Airtel, in line with industry tariff revisions following the 2024 spectrum auction, has announced revised tariffs for its prepaid and postpaid plans. At the time of the announcement, Airtel mentioned that three of its prepaid data packs (Rs 19, Rs 29, and Rs 65) were also being revised, as previously covered by TelecomTalk. Airtel has now revised a few other data packs in the prepaid segment. Let’s take a look at the complete benefits of these data packs following the tariff revision in July 2024.

Key Changes to Prepaid Data Packs

Airtel has revised two of its most popular prepaid data packs. One pack offers daily data benefits, while the other provides bulk data throughout the validity of the base plan. Specifically, the Airtel Rs 181 Data Pack is now priced at Rs 211, while the Rs 301 Data Pack has been revised to Rs 361.

Airtel Per Day Data Pack

Airtel's Rs 211 data pack (previously Rs 181) offers 1GB of data per day with a validity of 30 days. After the quota is used up, data will be charged at 50 paise per MB. There are no other benefits bundled with this pack. If you are looking for an extra 1GB of data per day on top of your existing base plan data benefits, then this plan suits your needs. As of this writing, there are no other data packs from Airtel that offer a daily data option. For example, if your base pack provides 1GB of data per day, recharging with this pack will give you a total of 2GB per day.

Airtel Bulk Data Pack

As mentioned earlier, this is one of our favourite data packs offered by Airtel. The Rs 361 prepaid data pack (previously Rs 301) comes with 50GB of data, valid for the duration of your existing plan. If your existing plan has around 200 days left, you can consume the 50GB of data over those 200 days. Data usage beyond the quota will be charged at 50 paise per MB. Additionally, Airtel offers Wynk Music Premium as a bundled benefit with this pack, valid for one year.

Airtel Unlimited Data Pack

Another data pack that underwent revision is the Rs 99 data pack. While this pack is not new, it has been adjusted according to market dynamics and is now back to its launch pricing. Currently, the Airtel Rs 99 data pack (previously Rs 79) offers unlimited data with a fair usage policy (FUP) of 20GB per day and a validity of 2 days. In total, Airtel users can enjoy 40GB of high-speed data over two days. After consumption of high-speed data quota, customers can continue using unlimited data at speeds of up to 64 Kbps.
