Agartala in Tripura gets Vodafone SuperNet 4G Services

Vodafone India has launched its SuperNet 4G services in Agartala, Tripura. With this, the customers in Agartala can enjoy high-speed internet on a wide range of devices including Mi-Fi and dongles.

Announcing the launch in Agartala, Alok Verma, Business Head–Assam & North East Circle, Vodafone India said, “As a steadfast partner to Digital India, we are delighted to launch Vodafone SuperNet 4G in Tripura beginning from the capital city - Agartala. The state is a key market for Vodafone India, and as one of the leading telecom service providers our 5.5 million customers in Assam & North East Circle have a lot to look forward to.”




“4G has the potential to revolutionize the mobile experience through powerful innovation that impacts how we work and live. Vodafone’s global expertise and experience of launching 4G across 20 countries give us a better understanding of this technology and the needs of the 4G customer,” he added.

The further expansion in the region will happen in a phased manner. Ms. Dipa Karmakar, the recipient of Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award ace gymnast, graced the launch event with her esteemed presence.

Vodafone 4G Offers Tripura

Similar to other circles, Vodafone India has announced special offers for the customers who switch to 4G. The SIM upgrade to 4G is free and 2GB data will be offered with every upgrade. The prepaid customers with 4G mobile phones and 4G SIM can enjoy up to four times the 4G data on purchase of a pack of 1GB or more.

The price of pack starts from Rs. 8 for 30MB. There are also Super Hour packs for Vodafone that offers unlimited data for one hour. The Super Hour pack costs Rs. 16 per hour. Vodafone customers can also download Vodafone Play app and avail an additional 400MB data for free. The access to Vodafone Play is offered free for three months.

Moreover, Vodafone offers free international roaming in countries such as UK, UAE, Turkey, Ireland, Singapore, Albania, Netherlands, Romania, Germany, Greece, Czech Republic, etc.

Customers can visit the nearby Vodafone retail outlets for SIM upgrade. The company promises an instantaneous exchange.

Vodafone recently launched 4G in Itanagar in Arunachal Pradesh, Tinsukia, Sivasagar, Bongaigaon, Guwahati & Dibrugarh in Assam, Aizawl in Mizoram, Kohima in Nagaland and Shillong in Meghalaya. It is also available in circles such as Kerala, Karnataka, Kolkata, Delhi & NCR, Mumbai, Haryana, UP, Gujarat, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Assam & North East and Punjab.
