According to the new policy launched by TRAI, with effect from today 1st Feb 2011, all operators will be forced to reduce the number of maximum free sms’s per day to 100, after which u will be charged as per the base tariff.. so now the Rs.44 plan in Loop will give 100 sms’s per day instead of 150.

Dudes, are we all informed about the following of Loop Mobile, Mumbai?
All packs come with a validity of 30 days.
Rs.27 SMS pack- 50 SMSs daily free.
Rs.44 SMS pack- 150 SMSs daily free.
Rs.21 SMS pack has been ceased; now Rs.21 gives you good night pack- 40% no-badalta ‘assured’ discount on all local calls from 11pm to 8am.
Rs.89- Unlimited Mobile Internet (WAP) with no fair usage policy.
As said earlier, all above packs valid for 30 days.
For quality check, compare Loop’s net speed with other (2G or 2.5G) operator’s net speed. You won’t compare again.
I do agree that some operators offer packs cheaper than those of Loop, but now when the MNP (Mobile Number Portability) has come to force, we don’t need to worry; it will too offer more or less the same.
By the way, Loop DOES offer 15,000 SMS pack in Postpaid.

why Rs. 1.5 daily ? & Loop has not yet introduced 15000 SMS pack why ? their schemes are very bad. I wish Number Portability comes fast so that i can choose Reliance

Reliance is not good then BPL in term of SMS and Network in mumbai. Reliance provide 1paisa per SMS or 500 SMS per day but both r useless coz lot of SMS not get deliver on time + lot’s time receiver get same message lots time
don’t compare new operator like Reliance/DoCoMo/aircel with Lopp/Airtel/Vodafone
they provide you cheap plan because they know there network are service is not better then old operator if they give you same plan like Airtel/Loop/Vodafone then who will continue to use new operator with bad network and service
BTW. Reliance is improving there network in mumbai. i think after one or six month they will be beat Airtel/Vodafone

ankit January 26, 2010 at 11:06 pm
good to heard this, but question is still remain of useless plan with lot’s of conditions +very late response to any new plan like pay per second and now gprs. ones upon time I m getting unlimited wap @ 49 Rs and now I m getting 50mb only:-(
bpl is first provider who introduce pay per second plan in india
I m expecting more from Loop.
zeeshan January 26, 2010 at 10:17 pm
Yes I agree with you because loop will launch soon in KR AP TN KL as has shown CC no in websites and I am also finding 405-865 from long time and now a days it is very strong present everywhere in Bhopal. I think when loop customers will roam to MP circle then 405-865 will come to play its role and they may enjoy the rates you mentioned. @Sagar
kaushik January 26, 2010 at 9:57 pm
thats only for mumbai circle
because LOOP is only present in Mumbai
Sagar January 26, 2010 at 9:15 pm
In loop Now Roaming @ .60 Local & .90/min STD while in Roaming.
Loop has launch two new roaming pack, Prepaid Rc with Rs.26 ( only for 30days) & in postpaid Rs.49/ Monthly rent.
ankit January 26, 2010 at 7:29 pm
faltu plan. bpl stay behind because this type of faltu plan.
bpl is first GSM provider in mumbai. and now its very little market share. dont know why they sell them-self. don’t know why they punches PAN India licenses and yet not launching there services.
all operator giving good GPRS plan except LOOP and Vodafone wakeup LOOL wakeup.
kaushik January 26, 2010 at 6:52 pm
LOOP always gives STD landline @ Re 1 or 2
only mobile STD @ 50 paise

Avi H January 26, 2010 at 4:31 pm
Pata nahi ye aire gaire service operators kaha kaha se a jate hai…………
Prasath J January 26, 2010 at 4:04 pm
TOO LITTLE… TOO LATE.. WITH TOO MANY TERMS & CONDITIONS… Especially the Rs1.5/day rent, no addon packs applicable, MIN Rs2 processing FEE on ALL RECHARGES, …
What about roaming charges??? Why LOOP MOBILE didn’t HARD launch (NOT THAT STUPID SOFT LAUNCH IT IS DOING NOW) its services in other circles??? Better they sell themselves to RCom or Docomo or atleast Airtel…
