Nowadays, it’s a very common strategy among telecom operators to promote self-care apps by offering freebies including data or voice minutes. Pan India operators including, Airtel, Idea Cellular and Reliance communications are already offering such kind of benefits, while smaller regional operators like Telenor India is offering 10% cashbacks on recharges made from their app to attract customers towards their self-care app.

To get the offer, You Broadband customers need to download the "You Broadband" app and log in to their account, after this the data benefits will auto credit into the account which will be valid for a day. As of now the offer is available to Apple iOS users, though it’s not clear whether Android customers would get the benefit or not.

According to latest subscription data by sector regulator TRAI, You Broadband has over 0.55 million customers in 16 cities. The company has over 3000 kms of optic fibre cable and 6000 kms of last mile coaxial cable network in all its operational cities.
