All this means that Xiaomi has sold whopping 2 millions of Mi Bands in merely two months. As per IDC, Xiaomi holds 25% of wearables market sales made in the Q1 of 2015, and it has acquired the spot of world’s second largest wearable manufacturer. The leading manufactures is still Fitbit, but with such raging sales, the spot might be acquired by Xiaomi soon.

The company is presently busy with the development of Mi Band second generation and Xiaomi’s first ever smartwatch. The smartwatch is rumored to feature a round display and dial and as touted by Hugo Barra, it will be the slimmest smartwatch around.
