Lots of hype from Xiaomi. Looks good on paper but their software updates will mess it.

Only in case of Mi A1 they messed it with Oreo. After that it’s been fine device to use. Android Pie update has brought great performance and battery life to device. Mi A2 also got better battery life after Pie update and hence performing good. 4-4.5 hours of battery life is really good for moderate usage for 3000 battery capacity. If not flash a custom kernel, there are large number available for device. Try out Evolution X rom and Avoid derfest ROM if you are not happy with stock rom. Lineage OS is also quiet decent.

Great devices. Just price it under 20000 and you will sell it like hotcakes.
