Prominent business and residential corridors of Bengaluru get Vodafone’s next generation, high-speed 4G network. Jayanagar, Basavangudi, J.P.Nagar, Electronic City, Bangalore International Airport, Whitefield, B.T.M. Layout, Chamrajpet and Koramangala are the locations that received the service. The roll-out will get completed by across all parts of Bengaluru by March 2016. With this launch, Vodafone’s 4G services in Kerala, Karnataka, Kolkata, Delhi and NCR and Mumbai mark a successful completion.

Built on the efficient 1800 MHz band, this 4G network will enable Vodafone 4G customers to access the internet via mobile with speeds across a range of devices including Mobile Wi-Fi. The network is built on a strong fibre backhaul and is supported by its superfast 3.5G services. With this launch, the company claims to offer 2G/3G/4G services on its own state of the art, convergent radio technology.
