Vodafone India, today announced a tie-up with the Department of Posts to offer recharge vouchers through post offices in Kerala for the benefit of its prepaid customers.
Vodafone recharge coupons will now be available at post offices, enabling Vodafone prepaid subscribers to recharge their cell phones through coupons while they are in a post office. Given the prolific distribution of post offices, this would save them a separate trip to the Vodafone outlet. Prepaid vouchers of various denominations, ranging from Rs 7 to Rs 1001, will be made available at the post offices.
Expressing pleasure at launching this service offering for the convenience of their valued customers, S. Murali, Business Head – Kerala, Vodafone India said, “At Vodafone we adopt a Customer First motto, where the customer and his/ her requirements are the core of all that we do. We constantly try to come up with innovative products and services relevant to the needs of our customers. We have introduced this recharge facility at post offices to ease the life of our pre-paid customers and offer them the facility of recharging while they are at or passing by a post office, thereby enabling a quick and efficient mode of recharge. We are looking at extending this service to more locations in Kerala.”
To start with, Vodafone has made this service available across 243 post offices in South Kerala. Over the next 2 months, Vodafone will rollout this offering at post offices across Kerala.
