Vodafone Launches Person-to-Person Recharge Service in JK

Vodafone Essar, one of India’s leading cellular services providers, today announced the launch of Vodafone Person-to-Person recharge service.

This convenient service enables Vodafone prepaid users in Jammu & Kashmir to transfer talk-time from one Vodafone user to another. The Person-to-Person recharge is one such service which will give our customers the flexibility to stay connected with their friends and family even when they are unable to immediately recharge their accounts.

The Vodafone prepaid customer needs to send an SMS RC (receivers no) (transfer amount) to 144 (toll free) from their Vodafone mobile phone and the account of the other number would be updated immediately.

The prepaid balance receiver would be charged Rs2 as processing fee per transaction.Only 1 transaction would be allowed in a single day. Minimum transfer amount is Rs10 and maximum transfer amount will be Rs100.

Speaking on this initiative Rajiv Kohli, Chief Executive Officer, Vodafone Essar – Jammu & Kashmir, said “At Vodafone, it is our constant endeavour to innovate and develop services in line with our customer needs. We expect the service to be extremely useful for our customers in Jammu and Kashmir.” Vodafone Person to Person recharge would ensure seamless connectivity for the subscribers even when they don’t have sufficient balance in their account. This service would be useful during times of red alerts and curfew when people are unable to step out and recharge their accounts.

vodafone is best service for those customers whose limit of services remains in only towns but wen u move out of towns, u will find ur cell phone useless….in jammu kashmir, the vodafone is having near abt. two lac connections coz they have issued a single customer large number of sim cards….for a single call to any other network or same network, u have pay for several calls instead of single coz the conversation cuts automatically…
