MyToday SMS service has run into yet another blockade this time from Vodafone.Vodafone has blocked the short code 5
75758 so that subscribers can’t request or receive sms from 575758.
Earlier Airtel had blocked MyToday SMS service quoting the service do not comply with telecom regulations in November 2008.Vodafone's initial remark has been that MyToday service do not entail with Trai's National Do Not Call (NDNC) regulations.
TRAI had rolled out National Do Not Call Registry to curb unsolicited commercial communications (UCC),including unsolicited SMSes and pesky calls, and had even set up a registry.
