The promotional 4G data comes with a validity of 10 days for prepaid subscribers. For postpaid subscribers, Vodafone is offering 1GB for two billing cycles. Subscribers can join the pre-booking offer by sending SMS “vf go4G” to 199 or they can walk into a Vodafone store for the free 4G SIM upgrade.

Vodafone started its 4G journey in India by rolling out 4G LTE services in two cities in Kerala. Meanwhile, Idea went one step ahead and launched its 4G service across all south circles. Vodafone now needs to catch up with Idea and Airtel to stay on top of competition in the 4G space.

I am using vodafone 3G in pune for last 3 years. Earlier the speed used to be between 2-4 mbps. Now the speed is around 512 kbps. Service is getting poor day by day. Forget 4G, dont know when we will get proper 3G instead.
