Videocon Mobile Launches 2G voice calling-enabled budget tablet, VT 75C

Videocon Mobile Phones has launched a 2G voice calling enabled budget tablet, Videocon VT 75C priced at Rs 6,499.

The product features include a vivid display laden 7-inch high-resolution screen, 1GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, Android 4.1 ‘Jelly Bean’ Operating System, 2G voice calling with dedicated SIM slot, 3000 mAh battery, in-built 4GB memory storage expandable to 32 GB and HD playback among others.

Specs very similar to Aakash tablet. Hope price will also be better than Aakash tablet.

If it has 2G calling why cant they at least put GPRS?

For ur info it does support gprs not only gprs but edge via sim and 3g via usb dongle

Yes it supports EDGE and is priced at Rs 5,965 at infibeam.
