Telenor launches 4G service in Gaya city in Bihar circle

Telenor India today announced the launch of high speed 4G services for its customers in Gaya city in Bihar circle. The operator aims at tapping the segment of users who seek high speed 4G data services at relatively lower tariffs.

Gaya is the fifth city in Bihar & Jharkhand region to go live with 4G services. Prior to Gaya, the company launched its 4G services in Hajipur, Ranchi, Hazaribagh and Dhanbad in the last three months and got encouraging response witnessing 100 % growth in subscribers’ month on month. Besides Bihar, Telenor has launched 4G services in 5 other circles and is currently present in the cities of Varanasi, Vizag, Amravati, Agra, Anand, Lucknow, Vijayawada, Tenali, Eluru, Bhimavaram, Dehradun, Guntur, Rajahmundry, Warangal, Kadapa, and Meerut.

With the brand promise of “Sabse Sasta Sabke Liye – Full Paisa Vasool”, Telenor is offering 4G special tariff vouchers (STV) at three different affordable price points of Rs. 11, Rs. 47 and Rs. 97. STV 11 offers 100 MB 4G data with validity of 1 day, STV 47 offers 500MB 4G data for 21 days and STV 97 offers 1GB 4G data for 28 days along with local calls @ 25p/min and STD calls @ 30p/min. Customers can avail this offer by walking into any of the fully functional Telenor branded stores and selected retail outlets in Gaya.
