Telefonica Germany says this move brings opportunities for both O2 private and business customers, allowing them to experience the power of 5G not only within Germany but also while exploring foreign destinations.

O2 Germany said whether lounging on the sandy beaches of Spain, embarking on an adventure in the Maldives, conducting business in the United States, or discovering the rich culture of Thailand, O2 customers now have the privilege to tap into 5G networks in an array of countries worldwide.
Global 5G Access
O2 customers can now enjoy 5G connectivity in 70 countries, unlocking blazing speeds and experiences across various destinations.
Speed and Efficiency
O2 Germany says depending on factors like device, tariff, and local network availability, customers can experience speeds of up to 500 Mbps, enhancing data-intensive activities on the go.
Inclusive Tariffs
For example, the O2 Mobile Unlimited Max tariff enables users to effortlessly connect, experience and use digital applications via 5G across multiple countries, streamlining connectivity.

Starting in 2022 with ten European nations, Telefonica O2 Germany said it has rapidly expanded the reach of its 5G roaming network, now to include even more countries.
According to O2, 5G roaming is currently available in the following countries and regions:
