Spam sms blocking app ‘smsBlocker’ and SMS knowledge machine - SMSGYAN Developer Innoz Technologies has been nominated amongst India’s one of the Top 10 Mobile Application by NASSCOM EnergeOut Forum.
For the first time, NASSCOM EMERGE Forum & IAMAI has invited applications from Mobile App Developers and rated them on various parameters based on usability, design, market potential and application.
This was an attempt to seek out the sort of applications that are likely to define the market in future. A very eminent Jury Panel has selected Top 10 apps from the plenty app across India.Top 10 app will get an opportunity to be showcased in the EmergeOut Concleve in New Delhi on 25th.
Speaking to TelecomTalk Mr Sagar Bedmutha CEO- Optinno Mobitech said : We are very delighted and honored that our app smsBlocker has beed selected in the top-10 app in India by en eminent panel of NASSCOM EmergeOut.
We have studied more than 3,000 patterns of spam SMS to design the logic of smsBlocker. Such a significant validation of smsBlocker gives us a national level recognition and a premium platform to present this much needed app for mobile users across India, he added.
From his findings, Mr. Bedmutha explained to us some of the interesting points as- how the spammers spam differently at local level and national level, how they ‘time’ the message (did you notice you get more spam on weekends regarding the restaurant offers or movies).
SMSGYAN is an on demand information service which is available in Shortcode/Subscription service for mobile operators in the market launched by Kerala based student startup Innoz,the product is honored by DFJ & CISCO last year & was finalist on the first ever Power of Ideas initiatives 2008,by Economic Times. SMSGYAN has also won the DELL IDEA LEAGUE CHALLENGE and recently received mBillionth recognition for South Asia Awards 2010.
