Alongside the Galaxy Note 3, Samsung has also launched the Galaxy Gear smartwatch for Rs 22,990. It connects with your Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note 10.1 over Bluetooth and will soon connect with S4, S3 and Note 2 as well after it gets an update.

Here’s a list of its specifications

samsung-galaxy-gear-india· 1.63 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels

· 1 Speaker
· 800 MHz single core processor is present under the hood
· 512MB RAM
· 4GB internal storage
· 1.9 MP camera with a BSI sensor and Autofocus
· It is capable of recording and playing videos in 720p resolution
· Bluetooth 4.0 for connectivity
· 315 mAh battery unit
· Jet black, mocha gray, wild orange, oatmeal beige, rose gold, and lime green are the colour options available

The smartwatch is a first of its kind and the smarwatch revolution is yet to come. The only problem we think it will have is the fact that it’ll be compatible with only Samsung devices. There is no competition for the watch so if you plan on buying a new watch, why not buy a smartwatch.
