Reliance communications is pulling the reins on its philanthropy with 3G data in Mumbai circle as it silently reduces the validity of two popular 3G data packs. Validity of Rs. 177 voucher which gives 1GB 3G data plus unlimited WA+FB+TW has been reduced from 30 days to 21 days. Validity of Rs. 246 voucher which gives 2GB 3G data plus unlimited WA+FB+TW has been reduced from 30 days to 28 days.

reliance

Voucher denomination Benefit Old validity New validity
177 1 GB 3G data, unlimited WA+FB+TW 30 days 21 days
246 2 GB 3G data, unlimited WA+FB+TW 30 days 28 days

Reliance has chosen to keep the pack denominations and data offering constant while reducing the validity and thereby increasing the overall 3G data tariff. In Mumbai circle Rcom now offers Rs. 197 voucher which gives 1GB 3G data with 28 days validity, it also offers a Rs.247 voucher which gives 1GB 3G data along with Rs.100 promotional talk time for local and STD calling with 28 days validity, this pack works out to be more economical than the Rs. 177 voucher.
