Reliance Jio Discredits Anonymous India’s Allegations Over Security Concerns

Not long ago, the hacker group Anonymous India claimed that Reliance Jio had been sending chat data of its jio application to a Chinese IP, compromising the privacy of its users. However, Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio discredited the allegations of the hacker group.

The hacker group stated through its Twitter handle @AnonOpsIndia that Reliance Jio’s mobile app was developed by Chinese developers. One of the tweets stated, “Over 500k mobile data taken by China made Reliance Jio app. Hosting by Chinese too.”

Reliance Jio released a statement on Thursday claiming that it didn’t compromise the privacy of its chat users. The statement also added that the app was developed by developers from all over the world, including India and China. These developers write comments within the Android Application Pack in their native languages sometimes, Jio stated.

Do you use Jio app ? Do let us know via comments.

Too much of hype for an operator which didn’t roll out yet.

This time its much like the hype created by Nano before being produced.
Huge popularity so much following by experts and fans worldwide who thought it to be a huge hit but eventually it failed among masses.
