We saw a lot of leaks and speculations in the weeks before the launch of the latest Redmi flagship phone in China. Through the leaks, we had got to know that the Redmi flagship would debut as Redmi K20 in China. The Xiaomi sub-brand released the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro in China a few days back, and now the company is looking forward to launching these phones in other markets as well. In all the other markets except India, the Redmi K20 is slated to be launched as the Mi 9T, however, in India, we believe that the phone might take on a different moniker.

Redmi K20 to Take on Different Names in Different Markets

The two phones, the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro, are being believed to be the Poco successors in disguise for the Indian buyers. While the Redmi K20 is likely to debut as Poco F2 in India, the Redmi K20 Pro will likely take on the name of Poco F2 Pro. We have already seen a retail box of the Mi 9T surface on the internet which reveals the full specifications of the device. This Mi 9T model is expected to be launched in other markets besides China and India. With this leak, the price of the Mi 9T has also been revealed.

The retail box which was spotted online with the Mi 9T moniker confirmed that the phone sports the same specifications as the Redmi K20. This means that the Mi 9T or the rebranded Redmi K20 comes with the same specifications as its Chinese counterpart. The phone comes with a pop-up selfie camera, triple rear camera setup and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor which has been announced by the chipset manufacturer only last month. The other specifications of the Mi 9T include 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, 20MP pop-up selfie camera, 48MP + 13MP + 8MP rear camera setup, 4000mAh battery with 18W fast charging and more.

Mi 9T Likely Pricing Revealed Online

Even ahead of the launch, the Mi 9T has been spotted listed on a retail website which reveals the pricing of the phone even though Redmi is yet to come up with an official price tag for the phone. As per the listing, the Mi 9T will be priced at 649 Lev that roughly translates to Rs 25,800 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. Although the listing only has one variant, we expect the phone to debut in many more RAM and storage options like it is the case with Redmi K20 in China.

Thanks to the launch of the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro in China, we already have some hint about the pricing of the device and the variants which are going to be available for the Mi 9T or possibly the Poco F2. The Redmi K20 is available in 6GB RAM and 64GB storage version, and it retails for 1999 Yuan (about Rs 20,000) while the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model retails for 2099 Yuan, translating to approximately Rs 21,000.
