Rcom ties up with PayTM to provide 4G upgrade to existing CDMA customers buying new 4G handsets

In what seems to be a strategic partnership, India’s 4th largest operator by subscriber base has tied up with e-commerce giant PayTM to bundle a free 4G blank sim for its existing CDMA subscribers who buy a new 4G capable handset on PayTM as a part of the CDMA to 4G upgrade programme started by Rcom.

PayTM is offering a 5% cash back to PayTM wallet on the order of select 4G handsets with the maximum cashback of Rs.5999 and the offer is available for only one order per user. PayTM will also bundle a free 4G blank sim for users who use the promo code UPGRADE4G, The sim will be delivered within 7 days of placing the order and the sim is only usable by existing CDMA subscribers upgrading to Reliance 4G.

Existing Rcom CDMA subscribers who wish to upgrade to 4G simply need to call on 1299 and follow the voice instructions and press 1 to register their number for the 4G upgrade.

Also note that this sim migration offer is valid only till 15th May 2016.

THINK TWICE !! I purchased from paytm
After delivery of the Mobile (only, no SIM) Paytm says :

we have checked that in the description it is not mentioned that you will received the 4G sim with product, so we are unable to provide it.

Impressive English , Impressive cust care, Impressive Service by Paytm
