Wholesale Access for Mobile Services

Under the terms of the agreement, Proximus, a telecommunications and digital service provider, will grant Digi Communications Belgium and Citymesh Connect wholesale access to its mobile network. This access enables both Digi Communications Belgium and Citymesh Connect to offer their services to customers without involving much infrastructure build time.

Scope of Agreement

The scope of the agreement is national, with Proximus extending its wholesale mobile services on a nationwide scale. In its statement on Monday, Proximus stated that the contract outlines the conditions for providing mobile wholesale services across the entire country.

In the framework of the agreement, Proximus will also propose decommissioning of around 400 mobile sites owned by it. These sites will be made available for acquisition by InSky, a company that specialises in deploying infrastructure for Digi Communications Belgium and Citymesh Connect.
