OxygenOS 15 is the Android 15-based operating system (OS) for OnePlus devices. Note that since Google has not yet rolled out Android 15, it is unlikely that OxygenOS 15 is going to come to the devices any time soon. There are expectations that OxygenOS 15 will come with the OnePlus 13 expected to launch next month. However, today, we are not going to talk about when the OS is going to come, we are going to talk about what it is bringing to the table. OxygenOS is one of the cleanest Android OS available in the global markets. OxygenOS 15 is expected to retain that status. This time, there might be a few features that may feel similar to the iOS 18 released recently. Let's have a look.

OxygenOS 15: What's New?
Look, this is not official information shared by OnePlus. But if you were to believe a SmartPrix report, the OxygenOS 15 could feature a revamped Control Center. While the layout will be similar to the existing one in OxygenOS 14, there could be an inclusion of a media player in 2x2 grid, and a 1x2 brightness slider along with a similar length volume slider.

Similar to the iOS, swiping down from the left could open the Notifications panel while swiping down from the right could open the Control center. Further, the volume slider could come with a shrinking and expanding animation which is already there on iOS. There could also be a Dynamic Island kind of feature this time around. OPPO is already testing this and this could feature on the OxygenOS 15 as well. This time, there could also be support for customisation of the lock screen.
OnePlus has not talked about OxygenOS 15 at all till now. However, in the coming days, it will be interesting to see if alongside Google, other OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) also release details about their implementation of Android 15.
