Nokia D1C Android Powered Smartphone May Be Priced More Than What We Anticipated; Prices Leaked!

It’s been no more than a week since HMD Global officially announced that it will be launching Android powered smartphones with Nokia branding. And if rumors are anything to go by, we may already know their prices. Yes! You read that right. As cited on Nokiapoweruser, the 2GB RAM variant of the D1C may be priced at USD 150 (approximately. Rs. 10,105) whereas the 3GB RAM variant will bear a price tag of USD 200 (approximately Rs. 13,474).

For those who are not aware, the Nokia D1C is speculated to be one of the Nokia-branded smartphones that HMD Global will launch in 2017.

There have been plenty of leaks and rumors circulating on the internet and if these are to be believed, then the D1C may be launched in two variants — one with 2GB of RAM and the other with 3GB of RAM. In addition, these smartphone may have different bodies as well — a polycarbonate shell for the lower priced variant and an all-metal unibody for the other.

Moreover, the screen sizes will also be different – 5-inch and 5.5-inch. A Full HD display will be common for both, though. Going by the rumors, 16GB of internal storage space will also be common on both the devices.

As far as the processor is concerned, at the heart of the D1C will be an octa-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset along with Adreno 505 GPU to take care of the graphics. For the photography enthusiasts, the D1C will sport a 13MP camera (a 16MP camera is also rumored) and an 8MP  camera at the front to cater the needs of selfie aficionados.
