Ngpay To Power Axis Bank’s Mobile Commerce Ventures

Axis Bank the third largest private sector bank in India today announced the selection of ngpay, India’s largest mall on mobile as one of their technology partners to offer mobile commerce services to their customers.

Axis Bank customers will be able to avail of mobile banking services like Balance Enquiry, Mini Statement, Funds Transfer, Manage and View Accounts etc through the ngpay platform.

In the case of mobile commerce, Axis bank customers will have the privilege of transacting on ngpay using Axis Bank Direct debit facilities from their account.

Ms. Manju Srivatsa, President – Retail Banking, Axis Bank commenting on the development said “Axis Bank has always maintained a strong consumer-centric approach to the business. We are always on the lookout for services that can make banking convenient for our customers. M-commerce is growing at a fast pace in India and in ngpay we found a partner who has helped us take the next step in consumer satisfaction.”

i am using this application from quite a some time and really impressed by its services and categories. The banking functions given by this application is really helpful for people for who do a lot of banking. But im a little worried about the people who belong to a lower category and college students. They dont use banking functions in their cell phones. Some are not even aware of how to use this application despite having it on their phones. For ngpay to work, GPRS needs to be activated. Contact your operator for settings if you don’t already have it activated 🙂
