The statement is very true that Vodafone always take care to the highly developed areas where 3G as well as mobile broadband service already have in a superb condition. They don’t care for the semi-urban or any rural areas where the demand for good network communication has increased day by day. Such as in our location where bharati airtel already set up the 3G tower but Vodafone don’t care about this. More than hundred times we have requested for 3G network since 2011, but no care from Vodafone..

In india, the telcos improve services in area where they are already good and mostly ignore places where they require serious attention. Last week, i was in up east and airtel irritated me like hell! Call drops have become too serious there and internet at 1kB/5sec and of course, they don’t have 3g license. However when i selected vodafone 3g, it latched on it and calls were crystal clear. Same with idea 3g. I strongly recommend people with 3g phones roaming in up east to select idea and vodafone 3g network.

I don’t think vodafone has a better coverage than their competitors, for e.g. in my locality reliance has strong 3g coverage(average speed 4.5 to 6.7 mbps) where vodafone’s 3g equipped BTS is situated nearly 4 k.m far. As a result I have to access internet only on 3rd floor of my house & the situation was not changed for past 3 years. So those media release of vodafone is only chest-thumbing.
