MTS, the data focused CDMA operator, has reduced data benefits for its prepaid customers across all the 9 circles where it operates.

Its Rev B data services were quite popular in those circles as they provided high-speed data at cheap rates.

MTS have not participated in the recent auction. It remains unclear as to why it has decided to reduce the data benefits. Nearly 50% of MTS’s total revenue is generated from its data offerings.
