Nokia’s 2nd forked Android smartphone, the Nokia XL will be launched in India on 1st May. Microsoft has sent us an invites for an event in Delhi and Mumbai to be held on May 1 and May 3, respectively.
The Nokia XL has a 5-inch screen, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, run dual-core 1Ghz Snapdragon processors from Qualcomm, a two-megapixel front-facing Camera, 5 megapixel rear Camera and a 2000mAh battery.
The device also comes with dual SIM card slot and free access to Here Maps, with offline maps and integrated turn-by-turn navigation, and Nokia MixRadio for free music streaming and down-loadable playlists.
Nokia XL will be running a forked version of Android same as Nokia X. Nokia is using AOSP for the X family, which means it doesn't have Google Play Store, however user can download Android Apps from Nokia’s App store that boasts a combination of its own and Microsoft’s.
With the purchase of any Nokia XL smartphone, people will free cloud storage using OneDrive.The Nokia XL will be available in bright green, orange, cyan, yellow, black and white.
