The users can also find doctors of specialized areas, like cardiologist and gynecologist, by simply texting in the name of the body part affected. Currently, there is no provision to book the appointments through the app.

By the end of the year, company plans to expand to another 20 cities of India. The target of Medinfi is to become country’s biggest content-based healthcare service provider by acquiring one million users for the application.

The application is already available on Google Play store and is rated with 4.7 out of 5 by the existing users. Medinfi was started in 2014 by Ravi Shankar Mishra, who was the former Head, Retailer marketing in Junglee.com. The company has already acquired funds from seven reputed angel investors.
