MediaTek’s new chip offers full network coverage, which means that it will work all around the world without any hindrance. It will support networks such as TD-LTE, FDD-LTE cat. 4 (data speed as high as 150Mbps down and up), HSPA+, TD-SCDMA and EDGE. Moreover, the MT6753 is also compatible with the CDMA2000 1x / EVDO Rev. radio frequencies. The device can also be paired with Miracast, Bluetooth 4.0 low energy and dual-band Wi-Fi.

The MT6753 can support the resolution up to 1080 x 1920 at 60fps. The chipset is also capable enough to support a 16-megapixel camera with feature such as picture-in-picture. It can also enable H.264 1080p and H.265 1080p video playback at 30fps within low power consumption.

MediaTek is expected to roll out the MT6753 by the end of the second quarter this year.
