Recently, LG revealed that its mid-range LG Q6 smartphone would launch in other countries, including India later this month. However, the phone is coming to India faster than we could have expected. Yes, LG India has set the launch date of the Q6 for August 10. And the brand is teasing the price as well.

LG is teasing the price of Q6 as Rs. 1_,990. Well, going by the LG's aggressive pricing strategy, the price might be Rs. 19,990, which was expected earlier as well. If LG manages the keep the pricing below the expected one, the device will sell in good number. Furthermore, it doesn't make sense to LG to price the device aggressively because the flagship LG G6 is selling in India for Rs. 34,999, and one can even grab it for even a lower price in offline stores.

The highlight of the LG Q6 is the Full Vision 18:9 display. The Q6 is the first smartphone in the mid-range segment to sport an 18:9 display, which has been a flagship affair until now. The LG Q6 was released a few weeks ago and recently went on for sale in South Korea. LG released the device in three variants- Q6a, Q6, and Q6+.

However, the company might launch the powerful Q6+ in India as LG Q6. The LG Q6 sports a smaller 5.5-inch Full Vision display with an FHD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution, making the overall form factor of the device equal to a 4.7-inch screen smartphone.

Internally, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset, clubbed with 2GB/3GB/4GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB/64GB storage. As said earlier, LG might launch the 4GB and 64GB version in India.

The LG Q6 has a single 13MP rear camera, unlike the dual lens camera present on the flagship LG G6. The smartphone has a 5MP front-facing camera, which can also capture wide-angle shots. The LG Q6 comes laden with Android 7.1.1 Nougat with LG’s proprietary skin on top. The smartphone is backed by a 3000mAh battery with support for fast charging.

The device will be available in Astro Black, Ice Platinum, Mystic White and Terra Gold colours. We will keep updating you if the price of the LG Q6 comes out.
