LG’s mid-range smartphone, Magna (LG-H502F), is now available in India via retail stores. Mumbai-based mobile phones retailer, Mahesh Telecom, revealed the information.
The device has a slight curved design with the display crafted in a 3000mm radius curve. LG also launched the Spirit smartphone with a 4.7-inch display in India recently, it was launched alongside Magna.
LG Magna was first announced in February ahead of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015. It features a 5-inch HD display and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop. The variant launched in India is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, and sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a 5-megapixel front camera.
The smartphone is available in Titan Black and Gold colors, for a price of Rs. 16,500 (Max Retail Price), however, the Maximum Offering Price (MOP) for the phone is around Rs. 15,590, as per the retailer. Given the price, the phone lacks 4G connectivity, which is being offered by other manufacturers such as Xiaomi and Lenovo at a much lesser price. It would be interesting to see how it performs in the Indian market.
