Lenovo P2 Featuring 5100mAh Battery To Soon Launch In India

Unleashed at the IFA 2016, the Lenovo P2 smartphone is all set to debut in India. The main feature of the device is a whopping 5100mAh battery, which supports 24W quick charge technology. Lenovo has already started teasing the upcoming launch on Twitter with a caption - ‘Travel fearlessly with the longest lasting battery #LenovoP2 #Powerhouse coming soon’. However, the company has not revealed the exact launch date.

Regarding specifications, the Lenovo P2 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display. It is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 chipset clubbed with Adreno 506 GPU. At the IFA 2016, the phone was showcased in two variants - 3GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM/64GB storage. The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and supports connectivity options such as Dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, and NFC. Lenovo touts P2's 5100mAh battery to offer up to 78 hours of talk time and around 32 days on standby. Similar to Asus's ZenFone 3 Max, you can use Lenovo P2 as a power bank to charge other devices via OTG cable.

In the imaging segment, the Lenovo P2 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash paired with a 5-megapixel selfie snapper. The phone boasts a metal body and a fingerprint sensor embedded into the Homo button on the front. The phone comes in Champagne Gold and Graphite Grey colour options.
