In December, we published a lot of articles regarding Android 6.0 update roll out schedule for a variety of manufacturers. It is almost the end of February 2016, and many of the scheduled updates have not reached users till now. Now, Huawei, being the third largest smartphone manufacturer in the world has finally rolled out Android 6.0 update in India for its Honor 6 smartphone. Many of the devices in the Honor range have already received the update and now it is Honor 6's turn to get a taste of Marshmallow.

Many of the Honor 6 users confirmed that they have received the OTA update on their devices. The update is around 700MB in size and its build number is H60-L04C675B810. Marshmallow is going to bring its usual features and tweaks to the Honor 6. The features such as Doze, Google Now on Tap, new app permissions, and many more. Just like other updates, this one too is moving gradually, so in case your device hasn't received the notification yet then you should stay calm and patient. Or, you can check for it manually too, Simply head to Settings> About Device> Check for updates. It will search if the update has reached your device or not.

As a precautionary advice, we suggest you to stay on a Wi-Fi network to install the update or your mobile data will get all sucked up. Also, make sure that your phone has more than 50 percent battery to take up the installation process.
