Honor 7X Pricing and Availability

Speaking first about the pricing and availability of the Honor 7X, it will be exclusively available on Amazon India. And the sale of the device will start on December 7.

The smartphone comes in two variants- a 3GB RAM/32GB storage model and a 4GB RAM/64GB storage model. The former is priced at Rs 12,999, whereas the latter costs as much as Rs 15,999 in India.

Honor 7X Specifications

The Honor 7X is the first X series smartphone from Honor to feature a Full View display. The 7X has a 5.93-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2160*1080 pixels. The display also has a 2.5D curved glass on top. Internally, the smartphone is powered by Huawei's in-house HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC, which is an octa-core chipset with four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.7GHz and other four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 2.36GHz.

In India, Honor has launched two variants of the Honor 7X- one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, and the other one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage is expandable up to 256GB with a microSD card.

Optics wise, the Honor 7X features dual rear camera setup. A 16MP primary RGB sensor, along with a secondary 2MP sensor is present at the back of the phone. The secondary sensor adds depth information to the images. At the front of the phone, we get an 8MP selfie camera. Cameras are the major difference between the Honor 7X and Honor 9i as the latter comes with dual selfie cameras.

The Honor 7X is backed by a 3340mAh battery with no fast charge support. And the device boots dated Android 7.0 Nougat based EMUI 5.1 out of the box. Honor might roll out Android 8.0 Oreo update to the 7X in early 2018. Connectivity options in the smartphone include 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, and sadly, it still has a micro USB port and not a USB Type-C port.
