Exclusive: Vodafone Launches ‘Discount Plan’ In the Lines of Uninor

Vodafone Essar, India’s 2nd Largest GSM operator launched variable “Discount Tariff offer” for the prepaid customers of Vashi- Navi-Mumbai area of Mumbai telecom circle.

Now, Vodafone customers of Navi Mumbai can  enjoy all local Vodafone to Vodafone calls across Mumbai, Maharashtra & Goa up-to 90% lest your base tariff and all other local calls will be charged up to 50% lest your base tariff, with minimum discount of 10%.

The discounts will change with location and time. Every cell phone tower broadcasts a different discount. This discount offer may visible on the screens of mobile phones in that area. So discounts change as a customer moves from the coverage of one tower to the next.

If your current base tariff for all local calls is Re1, and the discount shown is 90 % then you will be charged at 10p/minute for all your Vodafone to Vodafone calls. This special tariff offer is valid for 60 days from the date of recharge.

According to our exclusive sources at Vodafone, the ‘Discount Plan’ is in Beta phase and will be available in selected area of Mumbai Telecom Circle (Only in Navi Mumbai area) However it will be launched gradually in other parts of Mumbai circle soon.

Note: Presently The above tariff option is available in Navi-Mumbai and to opt for this offer, you need to do an easy recharge of Rs14.
