Integrating AI into Networks

Dell says the new solutions help CSPs easily integrate AI into their networks for improved efficiency, reliability, and cost savings, as well as build AI solutions at the edge to monetise investments in their networks with the enterprise.

Key Solutions for Network Operations

Dell's new network operations solutions available to Dell AI for Telecoms customers include the Intent-Based RAN Assistant with Aira, Network Traffic Analysis and Optimisation with Opanga, and AI-Powered Network Automation-in-a-Box with EnterpriseWeb.

A GenAI tool, RANGPT, powered by AiRA Technologies, enables network engineers to pool data and generate applications and scripts based on intent. RANGPT will also allow Dell telecoms customers to test, register and deploy code on the network, in turn accelerating application development and driving network operational efficiencies, the official release said.

Additionally, Network Traffic Analysis with Opanga allows CSPs to gain visibility into previously inaccessible data traffic, improving network performance. Another key solution, AI-Powered Network Automation with EnterpriseWeb, offers an intuitive natural language interface through Netwrx.ai for simplified 5G network management, provisioning, and orchestration.

Key Solutions for Enterprise Edge

On the enterprise edge side, Dell introduced several innovative solutions. New enterprise edge solutions include AIoT-Powered Site Security for Safer Venues with EPIC.IO, Vision AI for Smart Manufacturing with Chooch, AI-Powered Mission Critical Communication with Ecrio, Real-Time AI-Powered Crowd Analytics with WaitTime, AI-Powered Smart Transportation with AI Tech, Footfall and Crowd Analytics with TensorGo, AI Powered Worker Safety and Hazard Detection with Aotu, Intelligent Video Analytics for Retail, Transportation and Ports with Gorilla, AI Powered Video Analytics Solution for Worker, Transportation and Site safety with Axxonsoft, and Inventory Visibility and Management with C5i.

"As demand for AI solutions grows, Intel and Dell have optimised edge, running on Dell PowerEdge XR8000 servers and powered by Intel Xeon processors which are packed with AI instruction sets," Dell said in a statement.

According to Dell, these solutions offer optimised Edge AI applications, ruggedised hardware suitable for extreme environments and supporting multiple connectivity options, including Private 5G.

Dell AI for Telecom Program

"The future of telecom is smarter and more efficient, thanks to AI's ability to automate and optimise network operations. CSPs are facing challenges that require solutions beyond human capabilities. Imagine trying to monitor, optimise, and fix network functions in real time, 24/7. That's where AI steps in. By adopting solutions like Dell AI for Telecom, CSPs can choose how to accelerate their AI journeys with Dell's ecosystem of silicon and ISV partners," the company explained in a blog post.
