Coimbatore and Tirupur in Tamil Nadu gets Vodafone SuperNet 4G services

Vodafone India has launched its SuperNet 4G service in Coimbatore and Tirupur in Tamil Nadu, announces a release from the company. The 4G services will be expanded to other towns and cities of the state by March 2017. Built on 2100MHz band, Vodafone SuperNet 4G can be accessed on a wide range of devices including Mi-Fi, and dongles. Vodafone promises a super fast internet experience with features such as HD video streaming, mobile gaming, and two-way video calling.

Announcing the launch of Vodafone SuperNet4G service in Tamil Nadu, Murali S., Business Head- Tamil Nadu, Vodafone India said, “As a steadfast partner to Digital India, we are delighted to launch Vodafone SuperNetT4G in Tamil Nadu. 4G has the potential to revolutionize the mobile experience through powerful innovation that impacts how we work and live. Vodafone’s global expertise and experience of launching 4G across 20 countries give us a better understanding of this technology and the needs of the 4G customer. We have received an overwhelming response from customers where Vodafone SuperNet 4G is already available. Beginning today, our customers in Coimbatore, Tirupur and soon across Tamil Nadu, can enjoy the world’s largest 4G network experience.”

Vodafone 4G Offers in Tamil Nadu

As a launch offer, Vodafone offers free SIM upgrade to 4G with 2GB data on every 4G SIM upgraded. An immediate upgrade is promised at multiple touch points. The price of the packs starts at Rs. 8 for 30MB and extends up to Rs. 999 for 22GB. The subscribers can also get free three months access to Vodafone Play, thereby access to more than 150 television channels, 10,000+ movies, videos, and music.

Vodafone Mi-Fi will support Wi-Fi connectivity for up to 15 devices. For postpaid 4G connections, doorstep delivery service is offered.

Vodafone offers 4G international roaming for subscribers visiting seven countries -- the UK, Albania, Germany, Hungary, Romania, Netherlands, and Spain.

Prior to SIM exchange, subscribers can check if their SIM / Phone is 4G compatible by sending an SMS <4GCHECK> to 199. Vodafone SuperNet 4G service is also available in places like in Kerala, Karnataka, Kolkata, Delhi & NCR, Mumbai, Haryana, UP East, Gujarat, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Assam & North East, Odisha and Maharashtra circles.

The upcoming 4G launches are planned in Goa, Punjab, and UP West, Vodafone said.
