The company has launched an auto approval of ‘Talk Time’ credit up to Rs 30 for its prepaid mobile customers and free of cost credit of 10 minutes of Airtel-to-Airtel calling with a validity of two days.

Besides, there would be free of cost credit service for 50MB mobile data for prepaid customers with a validity of two days. For postpaid and fixed line customers, whose bills are due to be paid immediately, Airtel has extended the time to make the payment. The uninterrupted rains have resulted in excessive water logging and disruption of essential services in Chennai, thus causing power failures and impacting services in some regions.

“We at Airtel are relentlessly working with the local authorities to enable smooth mobile communication for Airtel customers across the city,” a company statement said.
