MTS reduces data offering on 999 pack by 40% and increases price of 40GB pack by 33%

MTS the only pure play CDMA operator has hiked the postpaid tariff of Mblaze ultra wifi in Tamil Nadu circle. Russia’s Sistema looking to increase stake in MTS beyond 74%

Sistema Sham Teleservices LTD (SSTL) will be resubmitting its application to the government by mid-April for increasing its foreign holding in the company beyond 74%. The Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) had last September turned down SSTL's proposal to raise foreign holding beyond the current 74 per cent. MTS Q3 revenue up 20%, data card subscriber base increased by 6.3%

Sistema Shyam Teleservices, which operates under the MTS brand, has reported a net loss of Rs 437.9 crore for the quarter ended September 30, compared to Rs 760.1.9 crore a year ago. The company is doing its business in nine circles.
