BSNL has been coming up with many innovative features and well bundled Broadband offers. This time around they have come up with an innovative feature called the BSNL prepaid wallet which can be used across the web for online purchases.
BSNL has already signed up an agreement with Andhra Bank and M/s Pyro Networks Pvt.Ltd for the same. Pyro will be rendering technical assistance and the necessary infrastructural support for the services. This product will currently be available only in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions. As per the Tri-Partite agreement BSNL will be a business partner to ANdhra Bank and Pyro is responsible for enabling its telecom network along with its distribution channel for this service.

Customers will always have the advantage of shopping safely without any worries as a prepaid wallet is less likely to get hacked or phished and even if it happens the money in your bank account will remain safe. The prepaid wallet won’t be directly linked to your bank account and it works like a prepaid mobile SIM card wherein you have to recharge the wallet before using it. An innovative feature nevertheless depends on how smoothly its implemented.
