BSNL has introduced new voice STVs 88 & 54 offering 50p/min or 0.8p/sec call rate all India. STV 88 comes with a validity of 90 days and STV 54 has validity of 45 days.
The new STV can be activated only by per second and per minute plan subscribers. Depending on the plan the call rate will be reduced to 50p/min or 0.8p/sec for Local/STD calls both onnet and offnet within home LSA. The reduced call rates will not be applicable on roaming. The new STV will come in to effect from 16-03-2015.
BSNL has been revising its tariff for the last few months by reducing validity of many STVs and introducing higher denomination STVs to compliment it. These new STVs are also in line with this revisions and subscribers has to spend around Rs 1/day to get 50p/min tariff.
