Calcutta Telephones aka Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has rationalizes its most popular Kolkata 5 paisa Plan (Kolkata@5p) by revising the own and off net local and STD call charges under the plan making it more attractive and affordable.
Unlike in the previous plan, now call charges to West Bengal BSNL Mobile numbers (WBTC) would also be charged at 5 paisa/min as earlier the facility was just for Kolkata's BSNL Mobile numbers (CTD). The call charges to BSNL Landline numbers with in Kolkata and West Bengal-Sikkim circles are now charged at 20 paisa per min. Earlier it were charged at 40paisa per min.
BSNL also made other networks local calls is more attractive and now it will be just 40 paisa/minute earlier whcih were costs 50 paisa/min.
BSNL Kolkata 5p plan comes for Rs. 124 along with freebies like 600 BSNL to BSNL Minutes, free 150 minutes for other network local calls and 50 Mb data usage with tariff validity of 30 days.
