BSNL has announced new promotional pre paid plans and Data packs for Karnataka. It has launched two new PV(Prepaid Vouchers) “PV 49” & “PV 89” which fall under the unified 3G/2G services. These offers will be available for 90 days or 1Lakh New Customers and 3 Lakh existing customers whichever is earlier.
The PV 49 plan will offer 1000 secs of free usage to any network and also a 20MB free data. After the free usage the local/std tariff will get charged to 1.6P/ 2 Sec to any networks and the Local/National SMS will be costing 20p each(even in national roaming) . The PV 89 plan on the other hand will offer 2000 Sec Local/ STD to any network, thereafter local/std calls will charged at 1.8 P/ 2 Sec (even in national roaming )rest all remains the same. These plans will also enable the consumers to get always full talk time on recharges of Rs 200, 1100, 1500, 2000, 2200,2500 and 3000. The good thing is that BSNL is not levying premium for the first minutes of the day like the other operators.
The newly launched Data packs are excellent for heavy internet users. The Rs. 29 plan will entail the users for a whopping 1GB of usage valid over a day. The Night Data packs cost Rs 389 and Rs 589 and will be enforced only during 0:00 Hrs & 06:00 hours.
The 389 plan lets consumers use 15GB of high speed data at night with a validity of 30 Days and the 589 plan will let users enjoy a whopping 40GB of night usage again spread across 30 days.
