BSNL launches ultra affordable Broadband speed restoration plans on FTTH, offers 20 GB at Rs. 500

BSNL seems to be on a hyper active mode and this is justified by the quantum of offers they have been releasing recently. BSNL has released new speed restoration plans that will help users restore their original speed even after crossing the FUP limit.

These extension packs will be available in all the Telecom circles and will go hand in gloves with all the limited BSNL Broadband plans and the unlimited plans that come with a Fair Usage policy.

Speed Restoration Packs Restoration of original speed upto Charges for the restoration plan
Speed Restoration-2GB Plan 2GB Rs. 100
Speed Restoration-5GB Plan 5GB Rs. 200
Speed Restoration-10GB Plan 10 GB Rs.300
Speed Restoration- 20GB Plan 20GB Rs.500

The speed restoration plan will expire once the its data is used or at the end of the billing cycle, whichever is earliest. Check out the table below for more details about the plan.

I think there is cheating going on. When I subscribed to Rs.300, the speed went back to 512 Kbps after 7 or 8 GB (instead of 10 GB). I should confirm it again.

The link speed for upload and download is configured in the BSNL switch as 998 Kbps and 8000 Kbps respectively.
