Avaya names Vishal Agrawal as Managing Director for India and SAARC

Avaya, a provider of business communications software, systems and services, has named Vishal Agrawal as Managing Director for India and SAARC operations.

Agrawal will focus on aligning Avaya more closely with India’s digital transformation initiative, and on continuing to drive the company’s ‘customer-first’ solution innovation ethos and outcome-based approach.




“For the last two years, we have invested in building a strong ecosystem of partners, a team that has experience and passion to serve, and in bringing new solutions and services built to India from India. Our strategy customer-focused, outcomes based strategy is making a great difference to our customers and partners’ business and I will continue to drive this and help them to achieve their goals,” Vishal Agrawal, Managing Director, India and SAARC, Avaya, said.

With more than 10 years’ experience at Avaya, Agrawal has played a critical role in the company’s development in India, scaling the India services operations, setting up the operations leadership team, and driving revenue growth.

Agrawal has specialized in developing offshore delivery centers from scratch, while building high-performing globally integrated teams. With this background, Agrawal has been picked by Avaya to further drive the company’s customer-centric culture in India, while continuing to build the ecosystem of partners and solution providers.

Agrawal has recently launched Avaya’s cloud strategy in India to help accelerate the country’s digital transformation and “Make in India” initiatives by delivering business communication solutions and networking in an as-a-service model.
